BAG$ BAG$ BAG$

Those of you who know me know I love myself a good man bag. Those of you who know me also know I love myself a good purse on every girl I come into contact with. Here's my mini-guide to buying yourself an awesome bag with that Christmas money that's about to be burning a hole in your pocket.

LADIES
Let's start out with this Leifsdottir pony hair dalmation print chain bag from the folks over at Anthropologie. I was really surprised to see this one at Anthro, considering their aesthetic is usually a bit more girly. I think this bag has a great feminine edge and is a new take on the classic chain style. That leather strap on top will definitely make for a comfortable wear with this edgy bag. Did I mention it's half off?
$199.95 from $398

This next option is one of my favorites and comes from Revolve Clothing. I love the barely there metallic sheen and the oversized gold hardware on this See by Chloe bag. And I know you girls love yourself an oversized fringe leather tassel. And it's $100 dollars off!
$245 from $350

Another option from Revolve Clothing is this vegan Matt and Nat envelope bag, perfect for the girl who wants to carry a cute bag without harming any cute creatures. Normally I would be opposed to a denim bag, but this finish makes the bag look pretty expensive if you ask me. This one is just over half off and comes in under $100 dollars. Eco friendly and cheap -- what more could you ask for?
$81 from $180

Time for something a little less practical but nonetheless beautiful. I dream of having somewhere to go carrying this gorgeous white and brown Proenza Schouler shopping tote from those torture masters at Barney's. This is the chicest way to carry your things casually, if you're willing to make the splurge. Currently 40% off, and these won't last.

$369 from $619

Another stunner from Barneys, this Theyskens' Theory chain clutch is the only thing you need for a dressed up night on the town. How sick is the signature Theory crossover in the chain? I also love the color and the unusual sequin detailing because it makes you look twice at what it is. This one is still a splurge at just under $300, but considering the 60% markdown, I think anyone would be lucky to add this baby to their closet. Can't. Stop. Staring.
$299 from $745

So many designers this season experimented with metallics and clutches. This Alexander Wang piece combines these two trends in perfect unison. I just picture someone clutching this in their hand, worn with a chic and understated little black dress. Not to mention the fact that it's an Alexander Wang bag for under $200, that's 60% off folks. Check please!
$189 from $475

Here's a great option from Planet Blue. This Tylie Malibu military bag is half off and oh so sweet! I'm currently obsessing over this green (scored a pair of Gucci boots in this color at Buffalo Exchange about a month ago, that's right!) and the fact that you could probably fit an entire outfit change in this bag.
$152.50 from $305

Well ladies, that's all for now! Hope you enjoyed the variety of the eye candy. Remember to use that Christmas money at the $ale $ection!

GENTLEMEN
You guys are in for a special treat today, because every bag I'm posting comes in under $100. That will definitely make for some leftover Christmas money. Since we here at the $ale $ection love all things cheap, why don't we start out with this Cheap Monday overnight bag from Revolve Clothing? Loving the navy color and how easy this guy would be to carry. And this one is only $50, can't be mad at that.
$50 from $90

This next bag comes from Alternative Apparel. Here's another shade of green that I'm loving right now. Can't seem to get over those classic fatigued military colors, is anybody with me? This one is 40% off and a perfect carry on for a trip. It also has a nifty shoulder strap for easy carrying!
$59 from $98

The rest of my men's bag options today come from good old Urban Outfitters. Check out this OBEY messenger with a Pendleton-esque print. At $39.99, I don't see why this one shouldn't find a happy home soon.
$39.99 from $68

This O'Hanlon Mills Fair Isle backpack is bitchin! Even the shoulder straps get a little bit of knitted love. Another one at $39.99, take this guy to school, on a walk, or to a concert festival. Perfect!
$39.99 from $59

Gotta love this all black backpack from KR3W. I have several KR3W pieces, they always give you great basics with small twists which is something I love. This is a good and big pack with lots of different pockets, perfect for your....stuff. Enjoy!
$79.99 from $110

Lastly we have one of my personal favorites from the folks at Property Of. Once again this green is creeping into my post... maybe I'm more into it than I thought. Anyway, this one is 40% off and sure to be something you'll want to carry for seasons to come.
$99.99 from $179

Hope you all enjoyed my mini-guide to great bags!

$ale $ection -- because shopping retail costs more.
