Starting $ale $ection

I am a soldier of the $ale $ection.

In my years, I have never found a remedy to quell my hunger for buying clothes. However, if your bank account is anything like mine lately, you're hard pressed to find a time when you should be spending full retail on, well, anything. This is the reason I'm giving you $ale $ection. Let me scour the $ales near and far in order to bring you the best selection of pieces to die for at prices you can afford. $ale $ection can be your guarantee that you get the most bang for your buck -- every single time.

Shop on soldiers -- $ale $ection is here.

For my first post, I wanted to show you guys some of my top picks for the cold weather. We all know how pricey sweaters and jackets can get, so let me show you how to keep warm and look good without breaking the bank.

LADIES
Seriously obsessing over this Rachel Comey number at one of my all time favorite boutiques, Opening Ceremony. Loving the contrasting colors that work with a number of palettes, as well as the wacky knit on the top half. This is the perfect comfy statement piece for fall/winter. Originally $520, this guy is now 30% off at $364. You're sure to fall in love with this one!

Let's continue our journey at Opening Ceremony, shall we? As you will soon learn, I love, and I mean love myself a good print. One line that NEVER disappoints in the the mind-blowing print department is Pendleton Meets Opening Ceremony. Unfortunately, it does tend to disappoint in the price department. Luckily, many of the pieces often go on sale, and I think this cape is a great investment! With a print that will catch anyone's eye and a classic shape that looks good on many body types, this piece has me swooning. Marked down 30% from $495 to $347.

This is one of my favorite finds of the day. I think the "lilac" and "peach nougat" options are both really fresh colors for a wool coat. At $86.36, I'm having a hard time finding a reason to say no to this one.

GENTLEMEN
I couldn't leave you guys out of the Opening Ceremony fun, could I? I'm loving this two toned jacket from the boutique's namesake line. I think the green and navy combo is a refreshing break from the black that usually pervades the jacket section, but would still work with lots of things I wear with my black jackets. This one is 40% off, coming in at $270 marked down from $450.

Still available in ALL sizes -- S, M, L, XL.

The men's side of Pendleton Meets Opening Ceremony is no less exciting than the women's, and it sees its fair share of markdowns to boot. This kaleidoscope peacoat is everything I want to have on this winter. At $581, it is a far cry from cheap, but still much better than the original price of $830. Seriously on my knees praying that Santa drops this one off at my doorstep.
Still available in ALL sizes -- S, M, L, XL.

Now it's the guys turn for some great outerwear under $100 at ASOS. Don't forget the free shipping! At $45.45, I might have to snag this guy for myself. Can you guys tell I'm into the varsity-jacket inspired pieces this year? Pair with a white tee, light wash jeans, and the boots of your choice. Love!
